Here is what we have scheduled for the upcoming school year. There are still a few things to be decided but all in all we're sticking a great deal to what we've been doing because things have gone great.

Miranda-7th grade:
Learning Language Arts Through Literature-Green
A Beka Basic Mathematics in Christian Perspective-7th grade
Mystery of History Volume 3
Science (first half) : Answers in Genesis God's Design for Chemistry Properties of Matter (we finished the first book this past spring.)
Science (second half): undecided but maybe begin God's Design for the Physical World
Latina Christiana 2
Fallacy Detective
Wordsmith

For all:
Art and Classical Music will continue in the Charlotte Mason style we've always used.
Some of our resources include:
Story of the Orchestra
Color the Classics
Various classical music cd's.
We use the library for many of our art and music resources.

Levi-4th grade
Primary Language Lessons (need to finish last 1/3 of book)
A Beka Language 4 (we'll take this at a slower pace)
A Beka Arithmetic 4
Beechick Style Copywork-You Can Teach Your Child Successfully

Levi and Maya together:
Mystery of History Volume 1
Prima Latina (finish) then begin Latina Christiana 1
Writing with Ease (maybe-still deciding)
Mindbenders
Natural Speller
English from the Roots Up Volume 1
Science-undecided but I'm thinking on it! :) I may continue unit studies with Levi and Maya-that has been working well.

Maya-2nd grade
Learning Language Arts through Literature-Yellow
A Beka Arithmetic 2 (finish last half then begin Arithmetic 3)

So, that is it so far. We've been on summer break and I miss school. I'm getting a lot of sewing and cleaning done but I miss all that great learning! School will begin for us on August 17th and I'm ready!

Looks good! :) We've sort of already started "next year." We took quite a bit of time off for pregnancy and moving. I do plan to take most of August off though... for obvious reasons. :)

I'm missing school too! I've actually been doing a little work organizing things in our school room. Our start day is July 20th, and I'm planning away. Enjoy your break:)

It's great! When does your school year start? I used Writing With Ease 1 with Casey last year - off and on. I bought Writing With Ease 2, but I just don't know if I'm going to use it. I have so many other language arts things which encompass reading comprehension, writing, etc., that I may not use it. (Sorry for the long explanation; part of that is due to guilt.) :)

Looks like a good line up for next year! We just got WWE and I really like what I see, but we shall see how it actually works!

That's a great plan, Rhonda. Garnet really enjoyed the Fallacy Detective! Hope it is a hit over at your place as well!
